Disclosed is a collateral assessment device for a movable property provided with a shipment estimation unit (2) for estimating a future shipment number for each of one or more movable properties by using actual shipment data associated with one or more movable properties subject to collateral; a collateral eligibility determination unit (3) for eliminating from movable properties to be assessed for collateral the movable properties with the future shipment number which is a given number or less at the expiration date of the loan period; and a collateral assessment unit (4) for calculating a collateral value by multiplying a quantity of stock by unit price and loanable value with respect to the movable properties which are left due to the eligibility for collateral, wherein fully considering the value and risk of the collateral of movable properties in light of the actual condition of a business to be financed, a more valid collateral assessment can be achieved by predicting from the actual shipment of the business in question the existence of risk that the collateral cannot be converted into cash because of a significant drop in the value of the movable properties at the expiration date of the loan period and excluding collateral assessment for the movable properties.
