Device (20) for removing gas leaks in a device (8) for supplying gaseous fuel to a gas turbine (1) or to a steam-generating boiler comprising a combustion chamber (6) able to be supplied with gaseous fuel, at least one means (19) for regulating the flow of the gaseous fuel in the combustion chamber and a means (17) for regulating the pressure of the gaseous fuel which means is mounted upstream of the flow regulating means (19) so as to form a zone (21) upstream of the combustion chamber (6). The removal device comprises a depression valve (22) situated in the zone (21) upstream of the combustion chamber (6) so as to create a depression in said zone (21) when the depression valve (22) is opened, a suction means (23) for sucking the gaseous fuel remaining in the zone (21) upstream of the combustion chamber and at least one detection means (23a) for detecting any gas leaks there might be in the gaseous fuel supply device (8).
