PURPOSE: A positive electrode active material is provided to be distributed to different concentration gradient from surface to a core part, thereby manufacturing a lithium battery having excellent efficiency and improved electrochemical properties. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a positive electrode active material comprises: a step of forming the mixture of nickel salt solution, cobalt salt solution and manganese salt solution; a step of forming a nickel composite oxide precursor by adding basic material to the mixture; a step of adding lithium-containing material to the nickel composite oxide precursor; and a step of heat treating the nickel composite oxide precursor for less than 1 hour. The concentration of the positive electrode active material is distributed to become reduced from the surface of the lithium nickel composite oxide toward a core part. |
