PURPOSE: A method for registering a digital receipt related to content is provided to use medium which is protected from various reproduction apparatus and to enable a customer to easily replace a service provider. CONSTITUTION: A transaction is performed through a processor in order to obtain content from a first distributor(S510). A digital receipt related to content is received from the first distributor through the processor(S520). The digital receipt includes information related to the transaction. The digital receipt is transmitted to a central key registry(S530). A return value for indicating success or failure of an online registration process is received from the central key.
