<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved connection terminal such that operation is improved and incorporation of an operation mechanism into an insulation material housing is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A connection terminal 1 includes an insulation material housing 2, and at least one spring fastening unit having a fastening spring 4 and a conductor rail part 3 in the insulation material housing 2. The fastening spring 4 has a mounting part 6, and a fastening part 8 formed so as to fasten a conductor to the conductor rail part 3. The fastening spring 4 has an operation part 13 extending from the fastening part 8, and the operation part 13 extends away from the direction of the spring force of the fastening spring 4 acting on the fastening part 8 and is arranged so as to be applied force by an operation element 16.
