<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress abrasion of a component such as a photoreceptor drum of an electrophotographic image forming device by reducing the operation speed of an image forming part during image reading operation. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image forming device comprises an image reading part 176 successively reading image information from a plurality of originals, and an image forming part 180 forming an image on a recording medium P based on the image information. The image forming part 180 forms the image on the basis of the image information at first speed and, when formation of an image on the basis of preceding image information is completed before the image reading part 176 completes reading subsequent image information, reduces the speed of the image forming part 180 into second speed that is slower than the first speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
