<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna that makes an antenna substantially low in height, and a method of manufacturing the patch antenna. <P>SOLUTION: Solder resist 131c is formed on an upper surface of a head 131 of a feed pin 13, and a lower surface (drop part) of the head 131 of the feed pin 13 is bonded to a conic hole 111a of a dielectric 11 with a both-sided adhesive tape 14. A part of the head 131 of the feed pin 13 is projected upward from a radiation electrode 10, and the lower surface of the head 131 of the feed pin 13 and the radiation electrode 10 are brought into contact with each other, and electrically connected to each other with solder 15, thereby making an antenna substantially low in height by preventing the solder from being heaped up on a head tip of the feed pin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
