The main body (11) of a work (W) is enclosed by a loop (13) of a high frequency heating coil (I) and subjected to high frequency heating and a flange (12) of the work (W) is sandwiched between a pair of lead-out parts (14, 15) of the high frequency heating coil (I) and subjected to high frequency heating. The first and second lead-out parts (14, 15) of the high frequency heating coil (I) face the flange (12) of the work (W) and the first and second lead-out parts (14, 15) are offset in the axial direction of the work (W) so that opposite direction eddy currents are not alternately generated in the flange (12) of the work (W) by the high frequency current that flows through the first and second lead-out parts (14, 15). Difficulties in heating the flange (12) of the work (W) compared to heating the main body (11) can be prevented. It is possible to provide a high frequency heating coil that is able to evenly heat a pipe-shaped work that has been formed with a flange along the axial direction, which protrudes out in the radial direction from the exterior circumference of the main body, which has a closed cross-section. |
