<p>Disclosed is an input device that can effectively prevent internal reflection of light from the outside, and moreover, with displayed light being circularly polarized light, can prevent the displayed light becoming darker or colored when viewed by a user wearing polarizing sunglasses. Of a capacitance input panel (40), a front substrate (42) and a back substrate (41) having a translucent electrode layer are each configured from a ?/4 retardation film, and an insulating layer (43) is formed from a polarizing film. External light (1) passes through the input panel (40), becoming circularly polarized light (2). Even if this circularly polarized light (2) reflects from the front surface (30a) or the like of a display panel (30), the reflected light is blocked by the input panel (40). Meanwhile, the display light (4) from the display panel (30) becomes circularly polarized light (6) by passing through the input panel (40). Consequently, no matter which direction the user wearing the polarizing sunglasses looks, the issue of the display light becoming darker can be resolved.</p> |
