<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lithium titanate particles as an electrode active material which can compose a lithium ion secondary battery which is excellent in discharging capacity under a low-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: As the lithium titanate, lithium titanate particles which have an average primary particle diameter of 0.1-1.0 μm and in which the SD value represented by formula (I) is 80 μm or less are used. In formula (I), D 90% shows a primary particle diameter corresponding to 90% of accumulation in volume cumulative distribution of primary particle diameter, and D 10% shows the primary particle diameter corresponding to 10% of accumulation in volume cumulative distribution of the primary particle diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
