PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a progress prediction device and a progress prediction method for easily grasping a progress state of an article, and a program therefor.

SOLUTION: A power measurement device 20 measures a power value of a printer 30 and transmits the measured power value of the printer 30 to the progress prediction device 10. The progress prediction device 10 receives the power value of the printer 30 from the power measurement device 20, and calculates a period where the power value has been in a prescribed range. The progress prediction device 10 calculates a production amount printed by the printer 30 by multiplying the calculated period by a preliminarily stored standard production amount.
