<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light emitting device which has high luminous efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A dome shaped light emitting device comprises: a substrate; light emitting elements arranged on a main surface of the substrate; a frame body arranged on the main surface of the substrate so as to enclose the light emitting elements; and a wavelength conversion member which has an inner surface facing the light emitting element and an outer surface opposing the inner surface and is arranged on the frame body.
