<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet rotary electric machine that can decrease the volume of a rotary electric machine and a control device, and can improve the reliability by cooling the control device via forced cooling of the rotary electric machine. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet rotary electric machine comprises: a stator 6 having an armature winding 4 whose inside is hollow; two permanent magnet arrays 2, 3 that are circumferential-directionally arranged in the Halbach array, and that are supported by the stator 6 to become hollow; a rotator 5 in which the armature winding 4 of the stator 6 is installed between the permanent magnet arrays 2 and 3, and the direction of the magnetic pole of the outside permanent magnet array 2 in the permanent magnet arrays 2, 3 and the direction of the magnetic pole of the inside permanent magnet array 3 in the permanent magnet arrays 2, 3 are identical for the direction of the magnetic pole in the radial direction, and reverse for the direction of the magnetic pole in the peripheral direction; and a control device 7 which is for driving a rotary electric machine 1 and is arranged in the inside space located between the stator 6 and the rotator 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
