<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of reducing irregular scanning line pitch of an output image by reducing vibration transmitted from the developing device to a housing structure, without relying on improvement of the housing structure and a mounting structure. <P>SOLUTION: A gear mechanism 30 synchronizes the rotations of a developing sleeve 41, a developing screw 43, and an agitating screw 44 outside a developing container 40 in its lengthwise direction. A side member 200 is supported by the developing container 40 via an elastic body 201 such as a rubber material lower in vibration transmission performance than the developing container 40. The side member 200 integrally supports the developing sleeve 41, the developing screw 43, the agitating screw 44, and the gear mechanism 30. Since vibration generated by the gear mechanism 30 is blocked by the elastic body 201 and prevented from being transmitted to the developing container 40, an irregular pitch image, caused by vibration of an exposure device 3 through a device body from the developing container 40, is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
