<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of realizing an appropriate and fine curl correction corresponding to variation in factors influencing a fixing state such as paper characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises image forming means for forming an image on a recording material, correcting means for correcting the deformation of the recording material after forming an image by the image forming means, deforming means for deforming another recording material before an image is formed by the image forming means, and measuring means for measuring a deformation amount of the other recording material deformed by the deforming means.
