PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a communication method.

SOLUTION: An orthogonal frequency division multiplex system communication apparatus has: a plurality of antenna elements for transmitting an orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal consisting of a plurality of sub carriers to other communication apparatuses; and a processing apparatus that is connected to the antenna elements and that processes the orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal to be transmitted. The processing apparatus acquires information related to a phase of each of the sub carriers, and adjusts the phase of each sub carrier of the orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal depending on the information related to the phase of each sub carrier.
