<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase effects on cosmetics in a coating agent composition to be used for a tooth manicure applied to each tooth. <P>SOLUTION: The coating agent composition for a tooth manicure comprises: shellac; ester gum; a thickening-coating agent; a surfactant; and ethanol as the main components. As the ester gum, pentaerythritol or glycerol ester of resin acid is used. As the thickening-coating agent, an acrylic acid-acrylamide-ethyl acrylate copolymer is used. As the surfactant, a water-insoluble surfactant is used, and is selected from polyhydric alcohol having three or more hydroxy groups and the dehydrated condensates thereof and the oil-soluble esters of resin acid containing ≥8C fatty acid and/or abietic acid, neoabietic acid or the like. Further, one or more kinds selected from pigment, a medicinal components having cariostatic action and bactericide-antimicrobial agents are added as auxiliary components.
