<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that properly bundles a plurality of copies of stapled sheet bundles, and a control method. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a staple function and includes a first staple part that staples a prescribed number of sheets so as to make it into a sheet bundle, and a second staple part that further staples a plurality of copies of the sheet bundles. The first staple part and the second staple part have different configurations. The first staple part and the second staple part are configured to use staple needles having different sizes and to execute stapling at different corner parts of the sheet. The second staple part is configured to cut the tips of the staple needle, penetrating through and protruding from the plurality of copies of the sheet bundles, without folding them back and to make a cut in at least one part of the staple needle stapling the plurality of copies of the sheet bundles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
