<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw driver whose operation is simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The control method of the screw driver includes the steps of: driving a spindle 14 for rotating a screw 19 around a rotary axis 15 by a motor 11; generating a magnetic field around the rotary screw 19; detecting magnetic field modulation generated by the rotary screw 19; selecting an operation stop reference by a screw identification device 28 based on the detected modulation; and stopping the rotation of the screw 19 by an operation stop device 24 when the operation stop reference is satisfied. The screw driver includes the motor 11, the spindle 14 connected to the motor 11, the operation stop device 24 adjustable to stop rotational motion of the spindle 14, an active magnetic field sensor 38 for detecting modulation caused by the rotary screw 19, and the screw identification device 28 connected between the active magnetic field sensor 38 and the adjustable operation stop device 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
