<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for sorting empty cans and the like which can efficiently perform compression and volume reduction treatment of steel cans and aluminum cans without impairing portability, easiness of installation, and space saving. <P>SOLUTION: A carrying conveyor 2 and a pressing machine 6 for aluminum cans are mounted on a first portable rack 8 so as to be approximately parallel to each other. A steel can sorter 3 is disposed above the carrying conveyor 2 in the approximately vertical direction, and an aluminum can sorter 4 is disposed on the carrying end of the carrying conveyor 2. An aluminum can storage hopper 10 and an empty bottle recovery hopper 7 are provided below the aluminum can sorter 4. A pressing machine 5 for steel cans is mounted on a second portable rack 9 which is installed approximately parallel to the first portable rack 8 and on the side opposite to the pressing machine 6 for aluminum cans while interposing the carrying conveyor 2, and a steel can storage hopper 11 is provided above the pressing machine 5 for steel cans. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
