<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, improving the transient responsiveness of supercharging pressure by increasing reaction heat in an exhaust emission control catalyst arranged upstream of a turbine as need arises. <P>SOLUTION: A turbocharger 8 is controlled so that the supercharging pressure PB detected agrees with a target supercharging pressure PBCMD. When a deviation DPB between the supercharging pressure PB and the target supercharging pressure PBCMD is not smaller than a determination threshold value DPBX, a change of the detected supercharging pressure PB to a change of the target supercharging pressure PBCMD is determined to retard, and post-injection INJPST is executed. Unburned fuel components are supplied to the first oxidation catalyst 30 by the post-injection INJPST, exhaust energy is increased and the transient responsiveness of the supercharging pressure PB is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
