METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING AUTO-DELETION OF SHORT MESSAGE

A method for implementing auto-deletion of the short message is provided. The method includes the following steps: 1) an auto-deletion identifier is added to the short message of a sender; the sender sends the short message carrying the auto-deletion identifier; 2) a receiver regards the received short message as an "unread" message by default and checks the current status of the received short message through calling a mobile phone interface; if the returned result is "unread", no process is perform; if the returned result is "read", the content of the "read" short message is scanned and then if the short message includes the auto-deletion identifier, the short message is deleted automatically. The method can protect important private information.
