PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of a power storage device by devising the shape of an active material layer.

SOLUTION: A power storage device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and an electrolyte provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. The second electrode includes an active material layer. The active material layer has plural projections including an active material and plural particles including an active material disposed on the plural projections or between the plural projections. This power storage device can have improved characteristics.
