CABLE CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF WITHSTAND VOLTAGE TEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connector with reduced size which requires reduced space for connecting a voltage applying lead cable thereto and has a wide variety of opportunity for designing its structure.

SOLUTION: A cable connector which is mounted to a side wall 1a of an equipment case 1 to house electrical equipment includes: a bushing 2 having a voltage applying port 211 at a head section 21a; and an L-shaped adapter 3 having a bushing insertion section 31e, which can be connected to the voltage applying port in a detachable manner at one end. A lead cable terminal acceptance port 311 to accept a terminal section of a voltage applying lead cable is provided to the other end of the adapter.
