<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "electronic equipment" for reducing the number of AD conversion bits of a touch panel output so that the internal/external determination of a touch area can be strictly performed. <P>SOLUTION: Used is a serial conversion type AD conversion section 21 equipped with a function for converting an input voltage into 10 bit data by ten time serial comparison of the combination of 10 pieces of weight voltages set in each position of 10 bits with an input voltage. An order N excluding the position of a bit which is always turned into 0 in the coordinates of 10 bits of a button boundary on a menu picture is set to the bit number of touch coordinate data, and a weight voltage value set by the AD conversion section 21 at the position which is the same as the position in 10 bits of any bit other than the bit which is always turned into 0 is set to a valid weight voltage value. Then, the AD conversion section 21 is made to convert the N bits of the touch panel output voltage into touch coordinate data by N time serial comparison using only N pieces of valid weight voltage values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
