<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently group biological information stored in a database. <P>SOLUTION: A diallel collation part 251 extracts a feature amount from a face image of a storage person stored in a biological information DB22, and finds a similarity degree among all face images stored in storing means on the basis of the extracted feature amount. A primary grouping part 253 groups face images whose similarity degrees among the face images are higher than a first threshold as a first group. A secondary grouping part 256 groups face images which are not grouped to any of the first group and whose similarity degrees among face images are lower than the first threshold and higher than a second threshold as a second group.
