<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nickel-plated die by which a relatively-thin nickel-plated layer can be uniformly formed on the peripheral face of a cylindrical die body on which an uneven pattern is formed, and the occurrence of plating defects such as a plating spot can be inhibited even in a fine uneven pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the nickel-plated die includes immersing the cylindrical die body having the uneven pattern formed on the peripheral face in a nickel plating solution to plate the peripheral face of the die body with nickel. The nickel plating treatment is started in such a state that the temperature of the peripheral face of the die body is made to be within (the plating solution temperature)±10°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
