FOLDABLE CASCADE SAIL FOR WIND SHIP, AND WIND SHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable cascade sail for a wind ship whose sail can be folded in the shape of a rod, and to provide a wind ship with the cascade sail.

SOLUTION: The sail includes: a mast 1; a pair of link frames 3 which is link-connected to the mast 1; the sails 10a and 10b formed by attaching a large number of wings 2 to each of the link frames 3 in cascade in parallel; a sail driver 4 which is located between the sail and the mast to fold and expand the sail; and a turning seat 5 which turnably supports the mast.
