This disclosure relates to contraception and prevention of sexually transmitted infections. In particular, the present disclosure provides cervical barrier devices that deliver a hormonal contraceptive and a microbicide during long-term continuous use. In addition, the present disclosure provides vaginal applicators to assist in the correct placement of the cervical barrier devices.
