<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character display device which displays a character based on an operation concerned with a character input and can correct and display a character by simple and easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: A character display device 1 includes: a contact detection part 20 which detects a contact; a display part 30 which displays a character; a control part 10 which selects characters belonging to a predetermined character group in a predetermined order and controls a display part 30 so as to display the selected characters when a position of a contact passes a line corresponding to the predetermined character group.
