<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flow meter capable of detecting temperature to make temperature correction without use of a sensor dedicated for temperature measurement such as a thermistor. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic flow meter comprises a first ultrasonic transducer 12 and a second ultrasonic transducer 13 arranged at a flow measuring part 11 for transmitting ultrasonic waves and receiving the waves at the other, a counter 17 for measuring a propagation time between the first and second ultrasonic transducers 12 and 13, a flow calculating part 19 that calculates a flow based on a measurement value of the counter 17, an oscillation circuit 16 for use as a time counter to calculate the propagation time at the counter 17, and temperature detecting means 20 that detects temperature using frequency change depending on temperature of the oscillation circuit 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
