<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear body structure of a vehicle capable of improving rigidity of a vehicle body rear part in the vehicle for arranging a damper support for supporting an upper end of a suspension damper in rear wheel houses, regardless of a vehicle body type. <P>SOLUTION: The rear body structure of the vehicle is provided by arranging the damper support 25 for supporting the upper end of the suspension damper 12 in a pair of right-left rear wheel houses 24 for storing rear wheels. The rear body structure includes a first brace 29 suspending downward from the vicinity of the damper support 25 in a vehicle front side position of the rear wheel house 24, a second brace 30 suspending downward from the vicinity of the damper support 25 in a vehicle rear side position of the rear wheel house 24, and an outer surface side reinforcing material 23 for connecting the rear wheel house 24 and a roof side rail 4 in a rear wheel house 24 upper part corresponding to a part between the first brace 29 and the second brace 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
