<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cleansing gel for washing the face. <P>SOLUTION: The cleansing gel is obtained without formulating an animal raw material and a mineral raw material, by allowing a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester to manifest cleansing effects. The cleansing gel consists essentially of water, vegetable 1,3-butylene glycol and polyglyceryl-10 oleate, and contains the main components mixed in a ratio of 1 of the polyglyceryl-10 oleate, and 2 to 3 of the water based on 1 of the vegetable 1,3-butylene glycol.
