<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater for a plate-like body that achieves improvement in productivity by eliminating heating unevenness and reducing heating time. <P>SOLUTION: A preheating device 50 is used for heating a plate-like body W made of a material containing vegetable fibers and a thermoplastic resin. The preheating device includes: a superheater 35 for generating superheated steam S; main pipes 54A1, 54A2 and 54B1, 54B2 extended from the superheater 35; a plurality of jet-part pipes 52 respectively branched from each main pipe 54A1, 54A2 and 54B1, 54B2; and a plurality of jet parts 51 arranged on each jet-part pipe 52 so as to jet the superheated steam S toward the plate surface of the plate-like body W. The preheating device is configured so as to allow the plate-like body W to pass through between each pair of the main pipes 54A1, 54A2 and 54B1, 54B2. One of the pairs of main pipes 54A1, 54A2 and 54B1, 54B2 is arranged on the upstream side in the transfer direction of the plate-like body W while the other is arranged on the downstream side in the transfer direction of the plate-like body W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
