<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressed powder magnetic core which can be manufactured with a simple method, secures a low eddy current loss and also can obtain high insulation properties and magnetic flux density while reducing the content of components except a soft magnetic powder than before, and to provide a method for producing powder for the pressed powder magnetic core. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing powder for a pressed powder magnetic core comprises: mixing a soft magnetic metal powder with a metal alkoxide; then hydrolyzing the metal alkoxide to form a metal oxide film on the surface of the soft magnetic metal powder; subsequently mixing the soft magnetic metal powder having the metal oxide film formed thereon with a metal propionate that is dissolved with water; and drying the mixture to obtain the powder for a pressed powder magnetic core. In addition, a pressed powder magnetic core is obtained by press-molding the powder for a pressed powder magnetic core and heating the press-molded product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
