<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp that can prevent the damage of an exhaust pipe when the exhaust pipe is subject to vibration or impact. <P>SOLUTION: An electrodeless discharge lamp includes a support member 22 for supporting an exhaust pipe 13 housed in a housing recessed part 21a. In recent years, with increase in output of electrodeless discharge lamps, those bulbs have been increased in size. Thereby, the entire length of the exhaust pipe 13 has been elongated. There is a risk that the root of this elongated exhaust pipe 13 is damaged when it is subject to vibration or impact while being transported or after being installed. It is possible to prevent the damage of the exhaust pipe 13 by providing such a structure in an electrodeless discharge lamp and a luminaire using the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
