Provided is an implant design device with which dental implants can be designed in the most suitable shape for each patient to match a patient's jaw bone structure and state. The implant design device (100), which uses computer image processing to design dental implants, is provided with: a jaw bone modeling unit (111) that creates a jaw bone model from jaw bone data indicating the structure of a patient's jaw bone; an implant modeling unit (112) that creates an implant model from implant data indicating the external form of a dental implant; a simulation unit (110) that simulates an operation in which said implant model is inserted in specified areas of said jaw bone model, and a dental implant is inserted in the patient's jaw bone; and a design unit (120) that designs said dental implant from an implant model that has been transformed by modifying said implant data based on the results of said simulation.
