PURPOSE: An automatic cleaning device and a charging system thereof are provided to clean an inclined cleaning surface. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cleaning device comprises a first movable part, a second movable part, a moving unit(113), a cleaning member, a battery(186), a solar cell module, and an attachment retaining unit. The first movable part and second movable part together move along the cleaning surface. The moving unit moves the first movable part and second movable part together and includes absorption unit. The absorption unit maintains the state of the first movable part and second movable part attached to the cleaning surface. The battery is equipped in one or more of the first movable part and second movable part. The solar cell module charges the battery.
