On an anti-skid device, in which anti-skid bodies with a U-shaped cross-section are arranged around a car tyre, a structure for mounting a contact member on a tyre is simplified. The anti-skid bodies (1a, 1b, 1c) are provided with a front-side U-shaped member (2) and a rear-side U-shaped member (3). The front- and rear-side U-shaped members have an exterior part (2b, 3b) and an interior part (2c, 3c) and contact members (6) are mounted to the inside surface and outside surface of a tyre (T). The contact members have a cylindrical shape. The exterior and interior parts of the front- and rear-side U-shaped members are arranged radially on the tire, end parts of the exterior and interior parts are bent and protrude towards the front and rear sides, and the contact members are fitted to the protruding parts of the ends of the exterior and interior parts.
