THERMALLY STABLE, HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH ENCAPSULATED ACTIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally stabilized active composition and a gum composition including a high molecular weight polymer at least partially encapsulating the thermally stabilized active composition.

SOLUTION: The gum composition includes a sweetener composition including: the composition containing a co-crystarllized/precipitated complex with cyclodextrin and the active degrading at high temperature, that is the sweetener at least partially encapsulated in a gum base; and a layer which includes a polymer having a molecular weight higher than about 300,000 and in which the composition containing the co-crystarllized/precipitated complex with the cyclodextrin and the active degrading at high temperature is encapsulated.
