<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head with a lightweight face part that prevents variation of CT values at each hitting point so that CT values at hitting points other than a sweet spot are substantially equal to the CT value at the sweet spot. <P>SOLUTION: The face part 10 includes a thick-walled part 16 located at the center of the face part, and an outer peripheral part 12 located at the outer periphery of the thick-walled part. The thick-walled part 16 includes: a center part 17 of the face part 10 having a largest thickness; a first ridge 18 surrounding the center part 17 and having a smaller thickness than the center part 17; and a first valley 19 located between the center part 17 and the first ridge 18 and having a smaller thickness than the first ridge 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
