摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print image processing apparatus having a processing speed faster than that of an apparatus which always adopts one of a page-based parallel method and a paginal-object-based parallel method. <P>SOLUTION: A dynamic scheduler 110 divides printed document data into section units each consisting of pages of the same number as that of pieces of DRPs 132. Then, for each of the sections, necessary times for image processing respectively corresponding to each of (i) a page-based parallel method for allocating image processing of each page to each DRP in units of pages to perform the image processing of the pages of the section in parallel, and (ii) a paginal-object-based parallel method for allocating image processing of respective objects in each single page to each DRP in units of objects to perform the image processing of the objects in each single page in parallel, are estimated. Then, an allocation of image processing of the relevant section is performed by using a method out of the page-based parallel method and the paginal-object-based parallel method, whose estimated necessary time is shorter than that of the another method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
