<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell includes a lower substrate provided with a first part and a second part stacked in this order, the first and second parts include a plurality of grains, and the maximum grain size of the second part is smaller than the minimum grain size of the first part.
