PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diode with smaller voltage drop and suppress manufacturing cost of a converter circuit.

SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion device comprises a photoelectric conversion element and a converter circuit including a switching element and a rectifying element that steps up or down the output of the photoelectric conversion element. A first normally-off insulated gate bipolar transistor is used as the switching element, and a second diode-connected normally-on insulated gate bipolar transistor is used as the rectifying element.
