<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of a protein using a porous membrane which can effectively and quickly remove foreign substances. <P>SOLUTION: The purification method of a protein containing solution in which the salt concentration is at most 0.3 mol/L includes: a process in which the protein containing solution is filtered by a porous membrane, thereby foreign substances contained in the protein containing solution are adsorbed at least at the porous membrane; and a process which collects the filtered protein containing solution, wherein the porous membrane includes a hydrophobic porosity substrate, and a molecular chain which has hydrophilicity fixed to the surface of the porosity substrate, the molecular chain has a side chain which includes a nitrogen atom with which at least one or at most three alkyl groups are combined, a hydroxy group, and a carbonyl group, the absolute value of LogPow of a molecular structure which forms the side chain is at least two, and the value of the substitution reaction energy of the side chain with a carboxylic acid is at least 0 kcal/mol and at most 5 kcal/mol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
