<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein urging force is insufficient because a single spring is mounted to reduce the ground contact pressure for a reaping device and wherein the operation space for a spring mechanism is enlarged because the whole stroke in the vertical direction of the reaping device is supported by the single spring. <P>SOLUTION: The combine harvester includes the reaping device 4 which has a sled body 22 to be lifted upward/downward by a reaping vertical cylinder 19. The combine harvester also includes an auxiliary urging means 20 for urging the reaping device 4 independently from the reaping vertical cylinder 19. The auxiliary urging means 20 is composed of two springs: a wide spring 40 and a narrow spring 41. The auxiliary urging means 20 is attached by inserting the narrow spring 41 into an inner space of the wide spring 40 with a wide coil part 42 of the wide spring 40 winding in the opposite direction from the winding direction of a narrow coil part 43 of the narrow spring 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
