A stereoscopic image generation method is disclosed, in which: a single image is subjected to segmentation, and feature points are extracted from the segments resulting from the segmentation; objects are recognised by using the extracted feature points, and depth values are ascribed to the recognised objects; and matching points are acquired in accordance with the depth values, and a left image or right image relating to the image is reconstituted by using the feature points and matching points. |
