<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool changer including an efficient and low-friction step-down gear of simple and compact structure. <P>SOLUTION: First coupling means 6, 6a, 7 are adapted to be coupled or uncoupled with a second coupling means 106a rotatably supported on a spindle stock 104 of a machine tool and connected to the spindle 101 of the machine tool via at least one of second gear stages 105, 106b, and wherein a tool drum 2 is adapted to be driven in a coupled state of the first and second coupling means 6, 6a, 7, 106a by the spindle 101 of the machine tool via at least one second gear stage 106a, the second and first coupling means 106a, 7, 6a, 6 and at least one of the first gear stages 5, 4 for aligning tool holding means 2a, 2b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
