<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing color shift when performing image forming processing using all of optical scanning devices after performing image forming processing without using at least one optical scanning device among a plurality thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 200 determines whether it is a first image forming mode or a second image forming mode from the image data. If image data is the second image forming mode (YES for S2) in which an image is formed using all of the optical scanning devices 4a and 4b, all of rotation polygon mirrors 49 are rotated (S3). If an energy saving mode is ON (YES for S9) in the first image forming mode (NO for S2) in which an image is formed using another optical scanning device, only the rotation polygon of the optical scanning device used is rotated (S10), and if the energy saving mode is OFF, all of the polygon mirrors are rotated (S3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
