<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting device capable of restraining troubles caused by generation of dew condensation water. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular lighting device 10 is provided, in its case 13, with a lighting-up circuit section 11 having a DC-DC converter 2 for increasing and decreasing DC voltage supplied from a DC power source E, a DC-AC converter 3 for converting the DC voltage increased and decreased by the DC-DC converter 2 into a rectangular-wave output, a boosting circuit section 4 for boosting an output of the DC-AC converter 3 at the time of lighting up of a discharge lamp as a load Lo, and an igniter section 5 for generating pulses used for discharging the discharge lamp by means of an output of the boosting circuit section 4; a control section 12 for respectively controlling the DC-DC converter 2 and the DC-AC converter 3. The control section 12 has a temperature and humidity detection section 6h for detecting at least either temperature or humidity of the lighting-up circuit section 11, and drives a heating section 1 for heating the lighting-up circuit section 11 when relative humidity detected by the temperature and humidity detection section 6h is higher than a designated threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
